FYI Lily Allen is English, hot, the daughter of Keith Allen, the actor, and really down to earth. She also posted on her Twitter feed that she loved this “mashup”!

Tried to grab this one on the way to Copnor Tropicals in Garsons to get a new bulb for my fish tank.

It wasn’t until I was looking at the description, whilst stood at the GZ!, that I realised this was a difficulty 3. I had looked at the image of the container so knew what I was looking for.

Spent 20 minutes searching and no luck. Not even with the clue.

Hoping this was going to be my first too! Been to the Abbey many times, even had our wedding photos done there in ’99.

Ho hum, I’ll keep trying. I might even find one sometime soon!

While we were at Garsons we met some friends who looked a little like they were trying to waste some time, wandering aimlessly around the garden centre. I tried (during the conversation) to explain Geocaching and really felt that I didn’t do it justice.

Having logged the DNF I went into the forum and eventually, as you do, I ended watching videos (caching related!) on YouTube. I have found a number on there, but this one from Anglia News (TV) from 2006 does a fairly good job of explaining what it’s about:

I think I will refer people to this post and the video instead of making myself sound like a nerdy idiot when explaining that I have been “scrabbling about in the bushes looking for a white plastic test tube”…

Looking round YouTube this afternoon I found their Live show with individual tracks.  Some things just make you laugh out loud.  To the tune of The Jungle Book’s “Bare Necessities” here’s The Amateur Transplants’ take on Web 2.0:

This particular song means more to me than most other songs I can think of. It’s been on every MP3 capable phone that I’ve owned, it was the first at our wedding (no, really!) and will always have a special place in my collection.
