Booing? Come On!
So Harry Redknapp got booed when he was presented with the freedom of the city today. Once again Portsmouth’s residents show their true intelligence level. Throwing eggs at their own team coach? Cock.
Ok, so Harry left. Managers leave football clubs. Deal with it. Move on. Support Tony Adams. He’s not Harry but he really can’t be that bad. Can he? Harry did the club proud by taking Pompey first to the Premiership and then to the FA Cup and into Europe. Give him the credit he deserves.
Pompey now has 6 million quid (or so) to invest in its players, club and Tony and this should be seen as an opportunity rather than the end of football at Portsmouth.
My only question is how long it will be until Harry starts putting in transfer bids for Pompey’s players…
