Stop The Remake!

Guess what it means. I’m means I have done a complete 180 on Sky and MTV remaking the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I was excited about it when I wrote on Wednesday that it was happening. Then, yesterday the BBC wrote that Richard O’Brien is having nothing to do with it.
Having thought about it (a bit) since yesterday I can see it turning into a complete pile of shit. Wolfie mentioned in his Brief Notes post that he can only see Tim Curry as Frank. Fair enough, in a way I agree but dude - you have GOT to see it on stage!

And worse yet. They say in this new imagining there will be new songs. Jesus Fucking Christ!!! This abortion will be worse than the usual shit they pour down on our throats. Prepare for the ‘Highschool Musical’ version of Rocky … or worse yet, the ‘Hairsparay2 The Musical’ version of Rocky.
Oh god. The original songs are the classics. They should be the only songs and to put any other song in will kill the Show. MTV. Don’t do it.

Totally agreed.
More people need to learn about this & sign the petition.
They can’t remake a beautiful classic!
