So, following yesterday’s post about accepting mis-spellings (yes Dad and grammar!), it would seem that someone with a hell of a lot more “power” than I also agrees. BBC today reports about a high court Judge that’s angry with Illiterate Idiots:
The indictment, which accused a man of assault, included attempted “greivous” bodily harm.
The judge said he hoped staff at the court would take more care in future.
“I before E, except after C”. Come on people, it’s not difficult!
“This is supposed to be a centre of excellence. To have an indictment drawn up by some illiterate idiot is just not good enough.”
Must remember that phrase – “illiterate idiot”. Wonder what their crap excuse is going to be?
