Facebook Poker FTW!
Some days you have all the luck, some days it’s everybody else that gets it.
Last night I picked up a 12,000 chip pot and playing a little this morning, look what I ended up with:

At this point I would like to offer a couple of tips when playing Texas Hold ‘em Poker on Facebook:
- Don’t play drunk Poker. Ian – this means you! You WILL lose.
- The best button on the interface? The FOLD button. It doesn’t matter if you have two or two thousand chips invested in the pot, if you have nothing, fold. You will lose more if you stay in.
- Be patient. You don’t have to play every hand!
- If you’ve never played before, DO NOT GO ALL IN the first time you play. You will lose.
- If you don’t know how to play, you can pick it up as you go along. Play on a Newbie table.
- There are enough resources on the ‘net to show you how to play.
- FOLD.
- Remember to fold.
- Try and avoid slow play. If you’re on a 10,000 chip buy in table, leaving the timer until the last second just pisses people off. They will tend to bet higher to try and get rid of you. This is not a good tactic either.
- If you lose a big hand, don’t come back fighting in the next hand. You will lose again.
Oh, and remember rule 2! I tend to play most evenings (UK time) for relaxation before bed. Look me up. We can set up private tables and I will happily go through the motions with you if you like.
