The Glowing Door

I may well have blogged about this before, but I can’t remember so I’m blogging it again. This time I have a different reason though.

It’s made with 4 sheets of material, two glass and two 3mm sheets of perspex. Lit using LEDs the sword is on one sheet and the dragon on the other.

My reason for blooging it this time? Well, apart from it being one of the most awesome doors I have ever seen, I want to see if I can re-create this style in the Mini. I don’t want the dragon (although my friend with a car called PUF (the magic dragon) might be interested. I want to re-create it with either the word Mini or one of the speaker company logos. I am using Infinity and Elemental Designs speakers in the car and I reckon that I could create this, probably much smaller, either in place of the rear seat or on the parcel shelf.

If/when I do it I will write it up on the Mini blog.
