Barbie Bandits – This Will Be A Movie

I can almost guarantee it. It has everything. Teeange girls, short tennis skirts, strippers, school (American), and a plan to rob a bank. Then it all goes wrong…

Had all gone as planned, 19-year-old Heather Johnston of Atlanta would have just completed her first year in college. Instead, she is praying for a second chance and hoping she won’t end up in prison.

Heather Johnston and Ashley Miller were dubbed the “Barbie Bandits” after allegedly stealing nearly $11,000 from a Georgia Bank. Seen above in surveillance footage, the teens were caught two days after the bank heist and were also caught on camera spending some of the money they allegedly stole at a high-end hair salon. (ABC News)

Give it a few months for the story to reach its completion and somebody will be putting the final touches on the script they’ve probably already sold to a major production company for millions. Couple of name changes and “based on a true story” as you’re made!

Playing the two girls:

Ashley Miller – Lindsay Lohan
Heather Johnston – Hopefully not Paris Hilton!
Michael Chastang (Miller’s Boyfriend) – Haley Joel Osment. A bit of a departure, but he’s about the right age and can shake off the goody goody image he has from his child movies.

It’s got it all. Except a black man. Go to be politically correct haven’t we! Perhaps Lawrence Fishburn could play the arresting officer?

Oh well, I thought it was funny when I first thought of it!

As they say, no idea is a new idea any more. :(

Heh! Actually Mike, it was your blog post on the iPhone Deathstar that first led me to the bit about the Barbie Bandits. I didn’t dig back through your posts far enough, obviously! Plus the fact that you’re just linking to the youtube videos. I’am talking full-on hot blockbuster movie from the likes of Paramount or Pixar. Heh! Can you imagine Pixar doing it? That would be cool!

Oh, and any particular reason why the comments are closed on all your posts? I think you could get some interesting discussion going there!
