I think if you're already a Flickr Pro, Picasa Web would be a step backwards. I only use it for screendumps and the odd photo for my blog. Mainly because I arrange all my photos on my PC using Picasa.

Flickr has a far wider user base and richer functionality. I real like that feature in Flickr where you can highlight and annotate areas on a photo.

I was really tempted to swap provider Andy, but as I said in the post, I paid for the year's pro account and don't really want to lose it. I like Flickr for the ease of use.

I haven't even looked at Picasa, is it any good?

[...] As soon as I have processed them I will get some more pictures on the web. This is of course dependent on Flickr sorting my account for me! [...]

I had a similar problem with a secondary Yahoo! account being unable to access Flickr!

The woeful and inept response from Yahoo! automatons and then humans made me feel I was indeed talking to a 'magic donkey' with the magic powers removed.

Now my photos are at Picasa. Shame really.
