He Didn’t Wake Up

I was going to write a really interesting (maybe) post about some photos of the Rover Longbridge plant. I might still tomorrow, but today I’ve been knocked for six.

I had a phone call this morning to tell me that a long-time friend from the Mini Club had died ten days ago (17 February). Dave went to bed the night before and didn’t wake up. Dave was (I hate using that word) a great guy, quiet, long term ill, funny, grumpy, and a Mini fanatic.

Sleep well Dave. We’ll miss you more than you thought.

Such a shame. Exactly like you say, he was a really great funny guy. A real great loss. He will surely be missed.
