He signed the paperwork. He knew what he was getting into. He joined the Army. There was always the possibility that he would go. He’s going.

    I suspect Harry won’t be placed anywhere near the frontline although the ‘frontline’ isn’t always well-defined out there.

    I suspect he will be getting red-faced and pissed in the Officer’s mess.

    And he may put other soldiers’ lives at risk by being a target

    well i suspect that both the above are right. He may well be too tempting a target which would put more lives at risk

    Unlikely that the enemy forces would have sophisticated enough intelligence to know where he was at any given time, and they would almost certainly not be able to identify him in full combats anyway – all us whiteys look alike don’t we?

    dave, unfortunetly if they can find out when and where troop movements are to take place they can certainly find out where he’s going to be.

    An anyway it would be easy to find him, look for the convoy that has a half decent protection
