Ah I’m not the only one to have blogged on this subject then. But be honest they are quite amusing. Any company that becomes that desperate, you just have to chuckle.

I saw two of the new UK ads at the cinema last night and …well they’re pretty annoying to be honest!
There was a great comment about them on the BBC News web site where someone said “In reality that campaign probably contributed largely to the sense of well-being (and dare one say it, self-righteousness?) of Mac owners. ”
How very true. Now these adverts have apparently always reflected the rivalry between Bill “Grandad Sweater” Gates and Steve “Bury Me In Jeans & Polo Neck” Jobbs, the PC being Gates, the Mac is (naturally) Jobbs.
As DC Luigi says “they’re just computers”. What next, a Microsoft campaign saying “OOOOOOOOOOH YOUR SHIT AAAAAAAAH!”. Probably not.
I’d best get ready and go to the Apple store opening then :)
