Habari

Habari Habari Habari Habari.

If all the effort that people are making to write and post about Habari (with the exception of KhaledDon’t bother looking at his blog if you’re using IE, the layout is b0rked big time who is one of the four main developers) actually put something into the project rather than bitch about other peopleother contributors yet you do this from behind the anonimity of a pseudonym. I know nothing of why you haul out Nuclear Moose, but Spencer admits he fucked up. He apologised and is trying to help out both at WP and Habari. For fuck’s sake let it lie.

Me? I’m sticking with WP until a full release comes out and there are a couple of themes to muck about with. As good as it might be, I can’t stand K2. I would help with dev on Habari but I am no developer. Look at this very blog. I can’t even make my own theme. I have to tweak other peoples. Hell, I figured out how to use SVN this morning and I’m damned if I can get Habari working on Apache. I just shrugged, deleted the files and SVN’d WP2.1 to play with.

Couldn’t agree with that any more Khaled! I cannot stand IE and on all my machines at home I have Firefox where the site is beautiful. Unfortunately I am stuck with IE6 at work. I shouldn’t complain too loud or they might give me more work to do! ;)

I just noticed that you linked to me Collin, and thank you for the support. :) I just want to publicly say to everyone, that I know I have done some very bad things.

I have also made a handful of bad choices, and I sure as heck don’t write with the best use of grammar either.. Most of the time, I publicly cast a very negative shadow of myself, and personal wrong doings when I shouldn’t be. I’m really not a bad person though, I just lose my temper and go off when I feel “verbally attacked”.

I’ve also said some downright nasty things to people too. I give my apologizes to everyone for my wrong doings. To Wank and HabariWank especially.

Even though I snapped on their blogs, and wrote some nasty stuff. I really don’t mind their posts per se, I guess I just need to read them and laugh it off. Rather then blowing my top and taking it to heart.

I can only learn from these mistakes I’ve made, and better myself as a person. Again, I give my apologizes to everyone!

P.S. I’ve only been around the WordPress Community in general, for a little over a year, and I’m not even sure who HabariWank really is lol!

I didn’t even know of Wank before, until one of the “old schoolers” on GoogleTalk linked me to her site, and that was just a few months back! :P

The joke at HW - and I will allow that this may be a Brit thing - is that the technical ability of the author and their contribution to blogging earned them the right - if such a thing exists - to poke fun at people. Now I must say it is probably not much fun being on the recieving end of it but it is acutely perceptive and very well written.

But underneath it all - there exists a geeks geek, a kind heart - and maybe a person who has not always been treated kindly.

The joke - the real joke - is that we are not meant to take it seriously. The wit is in the writing.

@spencerp I do not really know you at all.
