Flickr Gunwharf Meetup

Today was the day for the Flickr Gunwharf Meet and a chance for me to actually take some photos. I haven’t used the Canon EOS since November!. 11 am saw about 15 people huddled into a corner of the Spinnaker Cafe clutching cups of coffee and admiring Daze’s big ones.

As it’s obligatory when you’re at Gunwharf, I took a photo of the tower:

Although it’s not my favourite shot of the day, it’s certainly a different viewpoint, and one that most of the “public” will not get to take. It was taken from the upper level above the cafe.     I actually love them both. Wish you had a clearer sky for the first one, though I suppose that’s the downside of living in England.

    That photo of the glass floor, thats just superb. I was slightly too late to miss the kid lying down, and I wasn’t steady enough either! A very well capture photo.

    Considering it was a manky day weather-wise, the pics have come out really well. That “up above” shot of the peeps looking down is really good, nicely captured!

    Both are great shots but the kid on the glass is definitely the cooler one of the two, unless your into architecture. :)
