Guess Who Broke His Blog

Bet ya don’t even need a second guess. Yep, me. Running a little low on space on my hosting I thought I’d do some “tidying”. I started going through loads of folders and checking them. If I didn’t recognise them or if I knew they weren’t needed I deleted them.

There were five different installs of wordpress in the system so I got rid of three of them. I now have the freaks and this one. I’ve been playing with the freaks site lots recently so I know it’s all good. This blog was a different matter. I tried so many plugins, themes and widgets that the whole folder was a mess. Right. It’s action time. Delete that one, that one, that one, that one, fuck. Not that one. Bugger bugger bugger bugger bugger. Guess which knob end didn’t back up before deleting. Yep. Me.

Arse! So, know I’m using the most hated theme in the universe until I can either rebuild the old theme or find something else.

I rather like this theme but I know that it will need a fair amount of tweaking to get it functioning properly. So, off we go then… :(

As it is, it’s the personal system and isn’t as important. As I said in an email to a friend, it was a blessing in disguie as I was starting to hate the old theme for its huge text and “muddiness”.

I do have my important data (Music, photos, email, wordpress SQL etc) backed up. :)
