As Daze hasn’t blogged about the wonders of Google Video and Google Idol, I will!
Google video allows one to upload and share video. Easy eh? Google Idol is the web’s version of those godawful TV programs that take talentless teenagers and turn them into… well, talentless famous teenagers really. Shane who??? It uses Google Video to take the upload and then (from what I can gather) uses the trusted peer approval system to vote.
Pomme & Kelly (two dutch 15 years olds) were the very first winners of the Google Idol, with good reason. Their version of Aretha’s classic R.E.S.P.E.CT. is just awesome. Go watch, you won’t be disappointed!
