eBay Muppetry
Last Friday I bought a set of 500 poker chips on eBay. I thought that £7 Sterling for delivery was a little steep, but having now seen the product I can understand. The chips are made of clay, there’s 500 of ‘em and you get two packs of cards, 5 dice and an aluminium (aluminum) case. Total cost was £25 (£18 for the item and £7 delivery) and I am really impressed.
A certain catalogue shop beginning with A is selling a very similar item for £49.99, exactly (all bar a penny) the same price.
There are some total muppets, idiots, spanners (insert description of stupidity here) on eBay. The same product from the same seller that was put up for bidding rather than buy-it-now. Take a look here. At the time of writing the latest bid is £19 with £7 delivery.
