Songs you hate

Over on Guitar Noise they are running a thread in the coffee house called Songs You Hate. We’re not talking about the Timmy Mallet – Itsy Bitsy type piss take stuff, but “real” music such as Gwen Stefani (Hollaback Girl), Captain & Tennille and Starship (for example). One of the statements on there made me spit my tea over my monitor:

I agree with those who mentioned any of the new female singers. They sing like their giving birth to an epileptic toaster. Still, I wouldn’t toss Mariah Carey outta da hay just for singing.

Epileptic Toaster? Even seen one? Nope, nor have I. But just sit and think about it for a moment…..

So, what songs do you hate? I have to start with a controversial one:

John Lennon – Imagine.

Yup, I hate it. It has been so over played at so many different times through the past 20 years that I actually turn it off.

Well, if we’re doing controversial mine has got to be Bohemium Rhapsody (or however you spell it !!) by Queen.
Personally i think it is one of the most over rated songs of all time !! Just my thoughts !

Well, the same as “Imagine”, it’s been far too over-played and yup, I hate that song too!
